A recent stunt by a networker caught by IMBESTIGADOR has further damaged the reputation of networkers in the Philippines.
What they don’t understand and have probably never been taught in Networking is Business Ethics; a Business without Business Ethics is just plain peddling.
Honesty has always been the foundation of Good Business. “Kung manloloko ka ng tao, tingin mo babalik pa sila sayo?” By the time you’ve fooled a lot of people your reputation will precede you. And by the time that happens, say goodbye to your “Business”.
Now I’m not trying to tear down Network Marketing itself. This is an effort to change the methods done in networking circles. The method is important:
· This is a familiar scenario in a Networker’s Business Method: He invites a friend to a gathering; A drinking session, meeting a nice girl, and so on, by the time the person realized that he was kidnapped, he was told of it as a business opportunity. Now if the person who invited you has to lie in order to get you here, to give you a business opportunity. What else is he lying about? His cheque? His Earnings? His Experience in the company? Think about it.
· They don’t want people to know that it’s networking they’re doing. Why? Because Networking in the Philippines is already in shambles. But what they’re doing only further destroys the business potential it could actually do. If they hide networking and can’t tell people outright what networking is then it ends up looking more like a shady modus operandi.
· 97% of people who joins Network Marketing fail. Not because only the people on top succeed. There are some people on the bottom who do succeed, so it’s not a question of positioning. It’s a question of training. But the only way these Uplines train you is, “sige lang do all you can para mag invite ng mag invite, kami na ang bahala.” They never teach you how to stand on your own two feet. If you do this you will fail.
The Method is Important.
Take for example, my favorite product, PSP, if someone on the road catches me and say, “Boss, PSP, gusto nyo?” I wouldn’t buy from him, thinking it must be stolen or defective. If he forces it on me, then I might just call the cops. But if I saw it inside a store, in a mall, I wouldn’t think twice if I had the money.
The same goes with Network Marketing, if you are so professional, why would you peddle it in the streets? Why would you talk to everybody, like a bloodhound, about your business opportunity?
Let’s face it, not everyone has the aptitude to be a network marketer. Not everybody can sell. Not everybody knows the right people.
There must be some way to target the right market. That’s why it’s called Network Marketing, because you do market it to the right market!
These witless people makes business harder for us than it should be. If you are a networker, and you believe that this business can be done without resorting to these desperate measures then read on.
There’s more than one way to skin a cat.

Who will build a name that:
· Establish trust- If people trust you, they will come to you. People you don’t nag or force.
· Underpromise but overdeliver: we will tell people that they can earn up to 30k a month then set them up to really earn 50k or more. Rather than telling them they can earn millions and set them up to fail.
· Our downlines will be loyal to us- because we will treat them as people not moneymakers.
· Will build a team that will make Network Marketing look Good.
I am a 24 year old freelancer, the oldest son of a widow and four kids. I believe in doing business with honesty and integrity. I saw good people succeed in Network Marketing without resorting to lies and deceit. I believe that if I’m going to get rich, I wouldn’t step on other people. I believe in owning a car that wasn’t bought by other people’s suffering. I believe in living under a roof and sleeping peacefully under it.
People doesn’t buy the product, they buy the name. They buy a name they can trust. They buy a name that has always delivered the best. So that’s what we’ll do, we will build a name, a team with a name. A name they will trust, a name they will look for.
